Ping is now available on the web and Android

8/21/2026

Ping is built for teams that need fast, private conversations with customers without turning every interaction into a phone call, text thread, or app download.

The Ping web app is the command center. From a browser, teams can create QR codes, manage personal and organization inboxes, respond to conversations, review reopen requests, and keep customer messages organized across the places they serve.

Now Ping is also available on Android, giving teams a native mobile way to stay close to active conversations. The Android app is designed for the moments when staff are moving between the counter, the floor, the kitchen, events, or anywhere else a quick reply matters.

What you can do today

  • Use Ping from the web app on desktop or mobile browsers.
  • Use the Android app for native mobile messaging and notifications.
  • Create personal and organization QR links that start conversations quickly.
  • Keep message history, unread counts, reopen requests, and request actions in one workflow.
  • Let customers reach the right person without exposing personal phone numbers.

Why this matters

Restaurants and service teams do not work from one screen all day. Sometimes the right place to manage messages is a desktop browser. Sometimes it is a phone in your pocket. Ping now supports both workflows, so teams can choose the surface that fits the moment.

iOS is coming soon

The iOS app is next. We are bringing the same real-time messaging, QR workflow, and request management experience to iPhone so teams can use Ping across the devices they already rely on.

In the meantime, iPhone users can continue using the Ping web app from Safari or any modern mobile browser.
